Lanolin contains abundant amounts of 7-Dehydrocholestrol, the same compound in your skin that turns into vitamin D from UV rays. It is widely used to produce vitamin D supplements.

Shea Butter is a non-comedogenic fat that is very commonly used in skincare products to moisturize and protect the skin.

Jojoba oil is a non-comedogenic fat with a similar composition to the oil in our skin. It is an excellent natural moisturizer.

Aloe vera is a widely used natural ingredient to soothe the skin from sun damage. We use aloe vera powder, which is more concentrated in aloe vera's active ingredients than aloe vera gel.

Honey has many purposes on the skin. It is an excellent humectant, absorbing and retaining moisture and is naturally antimicrobial.

Beeswax locks in moisture in the skin, preventing water loss from the skin. It also serves as natural waterproofing in many applications.

Sea Buckthorn berries contain some of the highest levels of antioxidants found in any edible plants. This makes it great for fighting oxidative stress and free radicals on the skin caused by sunlight. We use the powdered form as it contains higher concentrations of sea buckthorn's already high antioxidant content.

Our special ingredient — Lanolin — though nourishing, has a natural scent that isn't for everyone. We add a small amount of naturally-derived essential oils to add to the experience of using SunDown.
